The TRiO Scholars Program, also known as Student Support Services (SSS), is here to support your persistence through your college years to graduation by promoting academic excellence, financial empowerment, and community building. As a member of the TRiO family you are joining a community of scholars that is committed to achieving academic excellence while leveraging resources offered by the program.
A team of peer advisors and professional TRiO staff are here to assist you along your educational journey. We are committed to your success and are ready to offer or refer you to the many resources available. We encourage you to take full advantage of the resources and stay connected to your TRiO family.

Program Requirements
- Maintain good academic standing
- Meet with assigned peer staff member once per quarter (3 times per year)
- Participate in at least two TRiO-sponsored events per quarter
Eligibility
- The TRiO Scholars Program is open to any undergraduate student who is a US citizen, national, or permanent resident. Applicants must have an academic need and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- First-generation college student
- Low-income (based on the US Department of Education scale)
- Have a physical or learning disability
